In the first year the experiment was only partially successful. Convening of the students was done according to the lists of winners of history competitions that year and the atmosphere had somehow a conformist and character (though among the invited lecturers were Constantin Ticu Dumitrescu, Alicija Wancerz-Gluza and Peter Jacubovski – from Karta organization from Warsaw and the former partisan from the mountains of Fagaras Ion Gavrila Ogoranu).
