We were pleased to participate on May 20, 2021 at the event organized by our partners from ATRIUM in Italy as part of the W-Child project.
We were joined by students from the Dragoș Vodă National High School in Sighet, as well as by Mrs Niculina Moica, a former political prisoner.
The event was held online, giving Italian and Romanian students the opportunity to get to know people whose childhood was marked by wars or totalitarian regimes of the 20th century.
The event is part of the project Behind Closed Doors. Growing up under Totalitarian Regimes / Growing up in Wartime, an EU funded project within the Europe for Citizens – European Remembrance programme, which was implemented by a partnership between the URBAN Association
(Bosnia and Herzegovina) as the lead partner, the Civic Academy Foundation – Memorial to the Victims of Communism and of the Resistance (Romania), the ATRIUM Association (Italy) and Post Bellum (Czech Republic).
