The Unionist Generation Victim of the Communist Repression: Ion Pelivan

Jurist and publicist, member of the National Council of Bessarabia, minister in the government of the Democratic Republic of Moldova (1917-1918), deputy and senator, for several times, of the Parliament in Bucharest, Minister of Justice (1919).

He was arrested on the night of the 5th to the 6th of May 1950. He died on January 25, 1954, in the Sighet prison.
